Welcome to ExpenseHelm, powered by COBRA AI Systems. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our expense tracking and financial management service. By accessing or using ExpenseHelm, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using ExpenseHelm, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our service.

3.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Provide valid payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for the selected subscription
• Pay all applicable fees and taxes
• Maintain a valid payment method on file

3.3 Billing Cycles and Renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current rate for your subscription tier.

3.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by law or at our sole discretion.

• Not professional financial advice
• Subject to limitations and potential inaccuracies

5.2 AI Chat Assistant

Our AI chat assistant "Helm AI" helps you understand your spending patterns. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

• Your queries and expense data are processed by OpenAI's services
• Responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate
• You should not rely solely on AI recommendations for financial decisions

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Rights

ExpenseHelm and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by COBRA AI Systems and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6.2 Your Data

You retain all rights to the expense data you input into ExpenseHelm. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your data solely to provide and improve our services.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 Service "As Is"

ExpenseHelm is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free

7.2 Not Financial Advice

ExpenseHelm is a tool for tracking and analyzing expenses. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult with qualified professionals for such advice.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, COBRA AI Systems and ExpenseHelm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Business interruption
• Financial losses resulting from reliance on our service
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of ExpenseHelm shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless COBRA AI Systems, ExpenseHelm, and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:
